Multifunctional complex Pescan to bring a slew of stores in Piestany
2012-01-31
Pescan, a multifunctional complex is scheduled to be built in the downtown of the town of Piestany. This project has been delayed for several years. Its developer is the company Penzion, a construction cooperative. The developer now has the building permit for this complex. Its construction is scheduled to start in the second half of 2012 as soon as the financing bank gives its green light to the loan for this project. Penzion’s representatives have yet to disclose the name of the bank interested in funding Pescan’s construction.
The Pescan gallery is envisaged to consist of 3,000 m² of office space and six small retail facilities with areas between 67-148 m². On top of that, Pescan is also envisaged to have some upscale flats.
In the past, Penzion has built several complexes in Slovakia. One of them was the residential complex Maly Dunaj in Podunajske Biskupice. At the moment, Penzion is building the third phase in this complex. It plans another construction in Piestany, namely a leisure apartments development known as Blue Wave.
