Animex will lay off 230 employees from its plant in Morliny (Warminsko-Mazurskie voivodship) within the framework of restructuring. The company is liquidating its beef production department, which has become unprofitable, and intends to focus on producing pork and poultry, according to spokesperson Andrzej Pawelczak, cited by the PAP press agency.
Animex hires 1,036 individuals in the plant, which it acquired from Spanish

Animex, along with five other meat companies, was recently approved by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) to be registered for exports to that country.
