2010-02-01
A new
shopping centre, named Fashion Outlet & Business Centrum, is to be built in Senec, South-East Slovakia, by the real estate developer Senec Real, controlled by the
Ipec Group. It is going to be built in an outlet format, which means it will offer non-seasonal goods at discounted prices. It will be the first retail premise of this format in Slovakia. The closest outlet centre in this region is based in the Austrian town of Parnodorf, between Bratislava and Vienna
The centre, which is planned to be built in five phases, is to have a GLA of about 35,000 m². The project is an investment of €13.8m and is expected to give work to some 269 people. It is to be situated close to the D1 motorway Senec-Pezinok so it banks on shoppers from the entirety of Slovakia and Poland.
