The Galanta-based factory run by Samsung Electronics Slovakia has plans to modernise its production facilities this year in order to strengthen its production capacity of LED TV sets and also to start manufacturing 3D TV sets.
The firm plans to invest some €100m in the Slovak factory over the next few years. The expansion plans also include the hiring of 200 new employees by October 2010.
