Jysk, the Danish chain of furniture stores, has signed a lease deal for 1,200 m² in the Zala Park shopping centre, reported Retail.hu. The new store is to be launched in April 2010.
The store will add to 55 units that Jysk operates in Hungary, eight of which are located in Budapest.
Developed by ConvergenCE, the Zala Park shopping centre is located in the city of Zalaegerszeg, western Hungary, and was opened in August 2009. The centre’s current tenants include the furniture retailer Asko, the fashion retailers C&A, New Yorker, and Takko, as well as Deichmann, KIK, dm-drogerie markt, Brendon, Regio, and Fressnapf.
