Rafar plans for over 100 Debenhams stores in CEE

The Romanian fashion retailer Rafar, owned by RTC Group, aspires to operate more than 100 Debenhams stores in the region of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and have yearly sales revenues of over €500m within the next ten years.
At present, the company operates a total of eight Debenhams stores in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The most-recent Debenhams store to be opened is the unit in the Sun Plaza shopping centre in Bucharest, which was opened in late-February 2010.
Globally, Rafar currently operates a total of 26 stores in 11 CEE countries. These stores include brands such as Debenhams, Aldo, Olsen, Mandarina Duck, Kipling and Bijoux Terner.
