The recently opened KFC restaurant, located in the Sun Plaza shopping centre and operated by US Food Network, generated sales of RON 200,000 (€50,000) in its first four days of trading. The fast-food outlet served 6,300 customers during the period in question.
The restaurant represents an investment of €350,000 and occupies an area of 120 m². It employs 25 people. The outlet is KFC’s 37th fast-food outlet in Romania and its 16th in Bucharest.
KFC’s main competitors on the Romanian fast-food market are McDonald’s, Broaster Chicken and Burger King.
