Local authorities to help shop owners in Zala County
2010-03-09
In order to counterbalance the negative effects of the economic crisis, the local authorities of two cities in Zala County, South-West Hungary, have decided to lower the rental fees for stores located in the city centre, reported Vgonline.hu.
In Nagykanizsa, city centre rental fees have been cut by 10% with effect from 1 March. In Keszthely, all areas for rent in the city centre pedestrian zone are eligible for a 30% discount for a period of four months. As a result, tenants of about 100 retail units in Kaszthely can save up to jointly HUF 13m (€48,800).
