In March 2010, the Fashion TV channel, founded by Michel Adam Lisowski, a Polish businessman, launched F Vodka. Beverage is produced at the Fabryka Wodek Kopernik distillery in Torun. The vodka will be produced in luxury and premium versions, and the latter is intended to rival popular brands such asFinlandia and Absolut.
The spirit is initially to be sold in Poland and other countries in Central and Southern Europe however eventually it will be available all over the world. F Vodka will also be accessible in several dozen Fashion TV clubs and at clubs which exhibit the Fashion TV brand name.
Fabryka Wodek Kopernikis the former Polmos Torun distillery, which filed for bankruptcy in 2009. At present, the factory is rented by Krzysztof Mielewczyk, another Polish businessman, who is planning to buy the facility in order to produce F Vodka there and who has announced that the production of other than F Vodka alcoholic beverages at Torun is to be moved to other factories. The Torun distillery is thought to be worth between PLN 15-20m (€4-5m).
