Agricultural production centre to appear in Senec, Slovakia

Alpha Group is planning to erect an agricultural production centre in the Senec region in Slovakia. The investment is to be worth €50m.
Alpha Group plans to focus on the production of vegetables in the centre. In addition to having growing cells, the centre will also have pack-houses and warehouses. The construction of the centre is slated to start in September 2010 and to be finalised within two years. The centre is envisaged to have 33,000 m². It will create some 190 new jobs.
Bratislava-based Alpha Group was created in 2007. Besides agricultural production, the firm is operates petrol stations in Slovakia and manages projects in the real estate sector.
