The retail chain Billa Romania opened a new supermarket in the city of Oradea, Bihor county, on 15 July 2010, which boosted the number of outlets that the company operates to 51. The new supermarket has a GLA of 840 m² and sells more than 6,500 products. Billa entered Romania in February 1999. The retailer is part of German group Rewe, which also operates the supermarket chains Selgros and Penny Market in Romania.
