MOS announces plans to build a shopping centre in Zvolen

The firm MOS has plans to build a new shopping centre in Zvolen, one of the largest cities in central Slovakia.
The shopping and entertainment centre City Life Zvolenmall is planned to have five floors and more than 9,000 m² in GLA. Besides the mall, City Life is also planned to offer a conference facility, underground parking spaces and some 1,300 m² of office space.
The construction of the complex is slated to start in summer of 2010 and to be completed in November 2011. The centre is envisaged to grow in the district Zapad in Zvolen, an area densely populated with shopping centres and industrial facilities under construction. MOS’s investment in the new centre is expected to reach €17m.
MOS is a company owned by local entrepreneurs who had in the past stakes in companies operating in car sales and construction.
