Aupark shopping centre to open in Zilina in October

The Aupark shopping centre in Zilina is scheduled to open on 21 October 2010. The centre, which is being built in downtown Zilina by the
HB Reavis Group, will have 30, 000 m² total area, of which 20,000 m² GLA.
The centre signed-up tenants include the
fashion retailers Mango, Orsay, Calzedonia, Tommy Hilfiger and Pietro Filippi, while other clothing brands such as New Yorker, H&M and the footwear retailer Deichmann are also considering leasing space in the centre. Other tenants include the supermarket Billa, the sports supermarket Exisport, Nike and Adidas, the toy chain Alltoys, the bookstore Panta Rhei and the electronics retailers Datart. Aupark will have a cinema multiplex with 900 seats, as well as a fitness centre, disco, bowling club, cafes, banks and post office.
HB Reavis launched the Aupark project in Zilina in 2003. The total investment in the centre is estimated at €67m.
The developer plans to expand the Aupark chain to Czech cities such as Brno, Hradec Kralove and Ostrava, while also building other centres in Ruzomberok and Trencin in Slovakia.
