Vinium Velike Pavlovice, one of the largest Czech producers of wine, reported a decline in sales of 10.4% last year to CZK 298m (€12m) in 2009. It is expected that this year’s sales figure will be similar.
Last year losses amounted to CZK 10.4m (€420,000). In comparison, in 2008 losses were CZK 19.3m (€779,800).
During the course of last year, the company invested CZK 21m (€848,500) in development, including the modernisation of its production lines, according to the portal denik.cz.
