Czech Chocen Dairy commenced exporting spread butter to Moscow and St. Petersburg. If sales prove to be successful, the company is considering the launch of a Czech-Russian entity, which will produce Czech specialties on the Russian market. Previously, the company had tried to start producing dairy goods on the Polish and German markets, but without success. The failure was due to strong relations between suppliers and retail chains in mentioned countries, making it difficult for the new player to appear on the market. Apart from Chocen Dairy, Madeta and Olma have also been given permission by the Russian veterinary authorities to export goods to Russia.
