Romanian Avicola Bucuresti sales revenues decreased in H1 2010

The Romanian poultry meat processor Avicola Bucuresti saw its sales revenues go down by 22% in H1 2010 to RON 11.9m (€2.8m) from the RON 15.2m (€3.5m) registered in the same period last year, according to Mediafax. The company’s income went down by 5% to RON 23.5m (€5.5) in H1 2010. In turn, manufacturer’s expenses increased by 3% to RON 23.4m (€5.4m) in January-June 2010 from RON 22.7m (€5.3m) in the first six months last year. As a result, in H1 2010 the company netted RON 11,000 (€2,500), down from RON 1.7m (€396,500) net profit posted in H1 2009. Avicola Bucuresti is controlled by Muntenia owner of 99.35% of its shares.
