Kraft to launch a new brand in Romania

Kraft Foods, the largest sweets manufacturer on the Romanian market, plans to enter the salty snack market sector through the launch of Tuc biscuits in Romania in 2010. The advertising budget for the launch of this new brand in Romania is €500,000. The Tuc brand entered Kraft’s portfolio in 2007 when it was purchased from the French group Danone.
Kraft Foods in Romania had sales revenues of €138m last year, a decline of some 12% compared to 2008.
