Romanian Zarea Bucharest saw its business up in H1 2010

The alcoholic beverage manufacturer Zarea Bucharest posted an increase in sales revenues by 16% in H1 2010 to RON 22.5m (€5.4m) compared to the same period last year. The company’s losses decreased in the first six months of this year to RON 580,000 (€136,600) from RON 3.1m (€730,160).
At the end of June 2010, Zarea posted a total debt worth RON 17m (€4m), down by 42% from RON 29.7m (€7m) in H1 last year. The average number of employees decreased from 150 people in 2009 to 138 workers this year.
