Hungarian Zala Cool to start pastry production

Zala-Cool will resume pastry production at the plant that previously belonged to the now-bankrupt pastry producer, Goldsun. Zala-Cool will start manufacturing plum dumplings and jelly stuffed dumplings. It will produce 30-40 tonnes of pastry per month, however it has already received orders amounting to 700-800 tonnes for the upcoming year. Starting from November 2010, the company plans to operate in three shifts and increasing its headcount from 19 to 30-35 people.
Zala-Cool was set up this year by investors active in real estate management and development in order to take over the assets of Goldsun, which went bankrupt in 2006.
