The fast pace of life, requiring spending most of their time outside of home, and large distances between work and home, especially in Russia’s largest cities, has forced Russians to increasingly change their eating habits. This has resulted in increased interest in ordering ready-to-eat meals via internet or phone for delivery to home or office. In addition, the popularity of foreign cuisine, including pizza, Chinese or Indian food, and sushi rolls, drives the trend, since not everyone can prepare them at home. Pizza and sushi are still the most popular meals in Russia ordered with delivery.
