HIT, a Germany-based family-owned hypermarket that was one of the first hypermarket chains to enter the Bulgarian market, back in 2004, has managed to hold its ground in Sofia, Bulgaria. Since its entry to the country, the company has managed to keep two its units rlatively prosperous by focusing on holding their ground on the market, according to the PMR report entitled Grocery retail in Central Europe 2016.
