Private label market in Russia: a late starter rapidly gaining ground - November 2007

The private label market in Russia is growing very dynamically, in tandem with the development of the modern retail format. Whereas its value is still modest as a proportion of total grocery retail sales, it is estimated that it exceeded €1.6bn in 2006, representing annual growth of 120%.
