Rossmann, the German-based specialised cosmetics store chain, opened a new store in Prague on 9 April 2014, taking its network in the Czech Republic to a total of 118 stores. The store, located on Pod Paťankou Street, has retail area of 356 m². This is the fourth opening of the retailer on the Czech market in 2014. The other openings took place in Ostrava (on Vaclava Vacka Street on 2 April), Prague (at the Florentinum shopping mall on 6 March) and Rakovnik (Husovo Namesti Street on 5 February).
At the end of March 2014, the chain launched its new loyalty scheme on the Czech market under the ‘Rossmanek’ name. The programme targets mothers-to-be and families with children under three years of age, as well as people who buy children’s goods in general. A similar loyalty scheme has been realized for a number of years in Rossmann stores in Germany and for two years in Hungary as well.
