All the major DIY retailers in Romania plan to further grow their chains. Leroy Merlin, which currently operates 16 stores in the country, plans to double its store count to 30-35 by 2025, 10 of which will be in Bucharest. Its next opening will be in Craiova in 2018, while in 2019 Leroy Merlin wants to add two more stores in the capital city, growing its Bucharest presence to five units.
